Visit Historic Monuments and
TV & film locations as up to six people travel in the
ultimate luxury around one of the most beautiful and scenic
areas in the country.
Starting at 8.00am from almost any
collection point in Yorkshire, we will travel through the
famous North Yorkshire Moors National Park to the eerie yet
fascinating coastal town of Whitby, inspiration for Bram
Stoker's legendary novel "Dracula". See the spot where
Dracula's ship came ashore the ruins of the
spectacular 13th Century Abbey, where some believe the Count
is buried!

The great explorer Captain
Cook sailed from Whitby on many of his expeditions and you
will have chance to visit the Captain Cook Museum or
Heartbeat Story during your free time in Whitby.
When it comes to lunch you are
spoilt for choice with dozens of Cafes, Pubs and of course
fish & Chip shops serving
excellent food.
We will stay in Whitby long enough for you to explore the
sights and sounds of this marvellous town before moving back
inland. |
In the afternoon we travel to
nearby Goathland, famously known as Aidensfield from the TV
smash "Heartbeat". Have a drink in the Aidensfield Arms
before visiting Goathland Railway Station, immortalised as
Hogsmead in the Harry Potter films.
Finally we relax with afternoon tea at the Mallyan Spout
Hotel whilst viewing the spectacular Mallyan Waterfall
before traveling back, passing through quaint villages and
spectacular scenery.
